The Rankdelta homepage is a dark field and a ChatGPT mark in the headline. "More Traffic from ChatGPT On Your Terms." Then the italic: "The full suite. Open source. Without the enterprise invoice." A domain box. A 7-day trial. No charge today. Read only that and you bought a cheaper Ahrefs that also watches answer engines.

Rankdelta homepage: More Traffic from ChatGPT On Your Terms, with the italic line The full suite. Open source. Without the enterprise invoice, a yourdomain.com field, and a 7-day trial
rankdelta.ai, 1 September 2026. The hero sells ChatGPT traffic. The suite behind it is Site Explorer, ranks, audit, GEO, and a writer.

Open the FAQ on how this differs from a GEO tracker. Their line, not ours:

A GEO tracker tells you whether ChatGPT or Perplexity mentioned you. Rankdelta is AI SEO software that does that and the part trackers skip: research tools plus a Content Writer so you can publish the pages those engines need as a source. Visibility without new pages is a dashboard, not a strategy.

— rankdelta.ai FAQ, How is this different from a GEO tracker?

That is the product. Site Explorer, keyword research, rank tracking, site audit, bulk analysis. AI-visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews in the same dashboard, not an add-on. A Content Writer for drafts you approve. Pro adds a Content Agent that can publish under rules you set — "the publish button is always yours." A hosted MCP server so Cursor or Claude can run those tools with your key.

Twenty-nine dollars, an honest index

Starter is $29 for one site: Explorer, keywords, audit, bulk, ten AI-visibility prompts a month, fifty keywords tracked weekly. Growth is $59, marked most popular: three sites, twenty prompts across two engines, and a Content Writer capped at ten articles. Pro is $99: ten sites, thirty prompts, and the Content Agent on autopilot with fifteen articles. Yearly knocks 20 percent. Stripe. A 7-day trial on the hero. Dollars, not francs. A Basel GmbH ships the suite.

Rankdelta Simple pricing: Starter $29 for one site, Growth $59 most popular with Content Writer, Pro $99 with Content Agent, monthly/yearly toggle showing 20 percent off yearly
rankdelta.ai, 2 September 2026. GEO tracking is in the suite. Ahrefs still sells that as an extra.

The Ahrefs comparison is the limit they wrote themselves.

Same suite you know, three differences: it's open source (auditable, self-hostable with your own API keys), AI-visibility tracking is included instead of sold as an add-on, and it starts at $29/mo instead of $129+. Their data indexes are bigger; ours is open and honest about being an estimate.

— rankdelta.ai FAQ, How is it different from Ahrefs or Semrush?
Rankdelta FAQ expanded: How is it different from Ahrefs or Semrush, answering open source, auditable, self-hostable with your own API keys, from $29 a month, with an estimate index
rankdelta.ai, 1 September 2026. Buy it for GEO prompts and a writer. Do not buy it to replace a crawl you already paid $129 for.

Open source is the adjective. Hosted is the software.

The FAQ sells an auditable Ahrefs you can self-host with your own API keys. On 1 September 2026 there is no github.com/rankdelta. A GitHub search for the product name as a repository returns nothing. The MCP block on the same homepage says the server is "self-hostable, auditable, yours." The documentation page is titled Connect Rankdelta via MCP and describes a hosted endpoint.

You create a key in Settings, then point Cursor or Claude at https://mcp.rankdelta.ai/mcp. The fallback they print is a Supabase function URL. That is a cloud they run, not a tarball you run. If you came here to git clone an Ahrefs, you are still waiting for the clone.

Type astroseo.ai. It 308s to rankdelta.ai. The MCP setup does not hide the previous name.

Rankdelta MCP docs: create a key that starts with sk_astroseo_, MCP URL https://mcp.rankdelta.ai/mcp, and a fallback on supabase.co/functions, plus an ASTROSEO_API_KEY note for Cursor
rankdelta.ai/docs/mcp, 1 September 2026. The domain changed. The secret prefix did not.

Their Cursor instructions: Authorization: Bearer sk_astroseo_… in ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Or set ASTROSEO_API_KEY. The docs title says Rankdelta. The key still says AstroSEO. That is the product as shipped: a Swiss SEO suite that watches ChatGPT, writes pages, and has not finished renaming the wires.

The index is an estimate on purpose

They wrote the limit themselves. Ahrefs and Semrush have bigger indexes. Rankdelta's is an estimate. That is not a slight. It is the reason $29 can exist. Buy the GEO layer and the writer. Keep the crawl you already paid for if you need that crawl.

If you want AI-visibility prompts in the same dashboard as a Site Explorer, and $29 is the invoice you can stand, start with the listing, then read the FAQ next to /docs/mcp. The homepage will show you open source. The key still starts with sk_astroseo_.
