Frisbii's AI token works on both sides of the invoice
Frisbii launched Frisbii AI on 3 November: a Collections Agent, an MCP server, a Token Wallet and Revenue Insights, all metered in AI Tokens. The Frankfurt billing platform is now selling the meter twice — once to you, and once for your customers.

Frisbii announced Frisbii AI on 3 November. The Frankfurt company — the subscription management, recurring billing and payments platform behind Billwerk+, plenigo and Sofacto — is pitching a suite for the "Office of the CFO": a Collections Agent, an MCP Server, a Token Wallet and Revenue Insights. What makes it worth a Journal post is not the agent. It is the unit. Every AI action in the suite is priced in AI Tokens, and the same company is building a wallet so that you can bill your own customers in them. Frisbii is not in our directory; this is a report from the product's own pages, which I read today.

We measure every capability by the value it creates for our customers.

The meter is the product
Every Billing and Pay customer gets a Monthly Token Allowance. It resets each month, is shared across the account and expires if unused. Run out and the AI features pause until the next month — the terms are explicit that you are never moved to paid usage automatically. The allowance is bundled into the plan: 1,000 tokens on Starter at €49 a month, 5,200 on Growth at €299, 11,000 on Scale, whose price is tailored. The AI Tokens Usage Terms, effective 23 October, say the tokens have no cash value, cannot be transferred or refunded, and that customer data is not used to train third-party AI models.
The rate card is where it gets interesting. A data read through the Billing or Pay MCP server costs 1 token, a write or update 5, a composite workflow 25, an analytics query 2 to 50. These are small numbers, which tells you the token is an accounting unit, not a proxy for model cost. It is closer to an API call count than to a kilowatt-hour.

The agent that chases the invoice
The Collections Agent works on overdue subscription invoices in Billing and Pay, whatever the payment method. A case opens, the agent writes to the customer in their language with a personal payment link, answers replies, records promises to pay and pauses reminders until the promised date. It checks the invoice before every message, so a paid invoice never gets chased. Disputes and sensitive cases go to your team; a pending mode holds every new case until someone releases it.
The limits are stated plainly. It never cancels invoices or subscriptions, issues refunds, offers discounts, writes off debt or threatens legal action. Every email carries your AI disclosure text, as EU rules require, and the agent sends nothing until that text is saved. Card details and payment credentials are never shared with the model. Payment retries remain your team's decision.
The pricing is the part I keep turning over. A first contact costs 200 tokens and each follow-up 120, but a successful recovery costs 1% of the recovered revenue — not tokens at all. Cases where the agent contacts nobody use no tokens. That is a success fee wearing a token costume, and it is the first time I have seen a billing platform price its own dunning like a collections agency.

The other side of the invoice
The MCP Server is already available: connect Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP-compatible assistant to Billing and Pay with an API key you issue, scoped to see, act or understand. Every response tells you how many tokens it used. Revenue Insights, the existing analytics, is part of the suite too. The Token Wallet is the piece that is not built yet — "coming soon", with no date. It is meant to let businesses bill their own customers for AI usage, through token packages or consumption-based billing.

Put the two halves together and the ambition is clear. Frisbii meters its own AI against your allowance, then wants to sell you the same meter for your customers' AI. If the wallet ships, every SaaS with an AI feature becomes a potential tenant of someone else's billing rail — and Frisbii's pitch is that the rail is already connected to the invoices, dunning and payments it runs today.
